Where are auditions/castings based?
Most are based in London, or Manchester. However, we would occasionally get ones that are all around the country, including the Midlands. These could also take place on video link e.g. Zoom, Teams…
How much notice will you give us before castings/auditions?
As an agency we will always try to give as much notice as we can, however this is a fast paced industry, and sometimes casting directors can give casting appointments for the following day. That means there might be situations where you are given 24 hours notice for an audition/casting.
It is very important you advise us on any prior holidays or if you can not make it.
Can you guarantee work for my child?
Like a lot of agencies we can not guarantee work or auditions. We will however always put forward our clients for the parts we feel they are suitable for.
It is a tough industry and can be disheartening, but do attend workshops to gain insight into the audition process.

Our talent ranges from 0-18
Do I need professional headshots ?
These are not compulsory, but as an agency we would strongly recommend that you have these done, as it allows us to “put your child’s best foot forward”, and gives them the best chance.
How does my child get paid once a job has been completed?
K&N will apply for payment from the client once a job has been completed. We will pay the money into your Childs' bank account once we have received payment within 10 days of receiving the money.
We keep 20% commission from all the work we secure for your child.
What is a self tape?
Nowadays most casting directors would ask that a child film a short video of themselves reading a script first so that they can get a sense of who they are before they invite them for an audition/casting. Please find our self tape help sheet attached below.
Do I need Spotlight ?
Spotlight is essential in the industry and is worth its weight in gold. It is the directory that casting directors use to look for what they need in their castings
